Text bubbles don't stay long enough...? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding text bubbles that show up when NPCs are talking (while doing quests etc). I am finding it very difficult to finish reading what they say... they disappear too fast, and letters are quite small. And I can't get these bubbles to show on my chat panel.

Is there any way of changing the length of these bubbles staying on the screen, size of texts and such? I looked at the options but couldn't really find anything.

They stay in your chat log. You can read them there.

If you are talking about heroes and hench text bubbles, they are random, and will repeat, and have no significance to the game, just for amusement. If its a quest/mission NPC, the dialog will be displayed in your chat log, and you can scroll back to read it if need be.

Actually I was talking about both hench bubbles and quest NPC's...then I just realised that I sometimes have my local chat off, could that be why it doesn't show in the chat box...?

Just started playing GW and still a bit confused

You can see quest related dialog in your chat window even if you have local turned off.
